Nutritional yeast to the rescue! I am experimenting making a low-fodmap version of this sauce using spaghetti squash to sub for the cauliflower. It's not going well... that delicious cauliflower texture is hard to replace. But I will keep working on it!
Ingredients:
-2 cups cauliflower, steamed
-1/2 cup homemade coconut milk, or canned
-1/2 cup nutritional yeast
-2 tbs green onion, chopped
-2 tbs ghee, melted (use coconut oil (for vegan) or lard for AIP)
-1 tsp apple cider vinegar
-1/2 tsp lemon juice
-1 tsp sea salt
-1 tsp black pepper (omit for AIP)
-1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Directions:
1. Using a high-powdered blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Simple as that!
